Self-sustaining off grid cabin

Project was built offsite at UUnlimited, Inc. shop and transported to the site for final install.  

Materials sourced and finished locally, ie. reclaimed white oak cladding,  and two second hand shipping containers from Martinez, CA.

A Nature Conservancy conservation easement prohibited permanent development. Objective - create a temporary  structure that could be:

• pre fabricated off site 
• able to function without access to utilties
• closed off when not in use
• functional, yet open and cozy
