Comprehensive remodel of a single family residence, ran the gamut across the city agencies from reconfiguring the site, landscape + entry, expansion - vertical and horizontal, and upscaling from a 2 bedroom, one story house to a 3 story, 4 bedroom home. Strategic excavation at the garage level allowed for a guest suite to host out of town guests, laundry and an art studio. The entry captures natural light with a series of skylights above to central stair that tracks up to the main level.  The partial 3rd story creates a quiet sanctuary, perfect for a primary suite with view overlooking redwoods and the mountains by the site.
